Continuing Medical Education (CME)
AAAM provides CME through its courses and congresses. AAAM's CME activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the Joint Sponsorship of the Institute for Medical Studies (IMS) and American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. IMS is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
AAAM's courses provide AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, and for Physicians of Osteopathic Medicine, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ as AOA Category 2-B credit.
Claiming CME Credit
To claim CME credits, registered delegates must complete a post-Congress session/speaker evaluation. The evaluation is delivered via email within 5 business days of the 15th Congress. Delegates may print or save their CME statement following its completion.
